About 3 years ago TV2 Norway kicked off their Greenfield Playout (GPO) project to get rid off outdated technology, inefficient workflows, and unstructured planning, amongst other technology and business challenges. Kristian Kim comes from a background as VP of Technology at TV 2 Norway. He has a broad industry background, being part of the startup of today's international success Vizrt; a market leader in the areas of real-time 3D graphics, studio automation, sports analysis, and MAM. Kristian then moved on to Supponor; a company that has pioneered with augmented reality replacement for real-time broadcast and streaming of in-venue advertising. He was also an early mover in social media with company never.no and also has extensive experience in online and web technology.
Kristian has an impressive track record working with international companies like CBS News and Sport, Fox and ESPN in the USA. He lived and worked 3 years in London working with BBC, Sky, ITN/ITV and others, as well as 3 years in Dubai working in the Middle East region with lighthouse customers as Al Jazeera, MBC and Dubai TV.
